Tholtan Theatricals and Caarjyn Cooidjagh present ‘At the Season’s Edge’
How do we live on the edge of change?
An evening of original Manx drama and song.
Features Cori Philips’s new short comedy for Culture Vannin, ‘Our Loch-y Charm’.
(Set in 1863, the play considers how the newly-appointed Governor might have persuaded the resistant Manx to look towards a different future, twenty-first-century style.)
And the premiere of Annie Kissack’s one-act play for Culture Vannin, ‘The In-Between Times.’
(It is a May Eve in the developing Upper Douglas of the 1860s, where middle-class housewife, Kate Corrin, finds herself trying to bridge very different worlds.)
