Collinson House – A History of one of Port Erin’s most iconic buildings, with Julie Blackburn.

Collinson House has been an iconic landmark in Port Erin for more than a century, after the site was bought by Ted Collinson and the original cafe built by contractor McArd. It was an instant success, buoyed along by the ever-growing wave of tourism, but underwent several transformations in the decades since and is today a private home. Join us for the latest in Rushen Heritage Trust’s season of talks as Julie Blackburn, the author of a book about Collinson House, delves into its history.

Tickets available from the EAC, www.ticketsource.co.uk/erinartscentre or Rushen Heritage Centre & Bridge Bookshop (cash only) in Port Erin. For further info — [email protected] or call 464634.
