Giving our children back the magic of the night…
Light pollution is a modern day scourge – excessive unnecessary lighting is a serious issue, not just from an astronomical perspective. It effects nature, wildlife, humans and the environment. Astronomer Howard Parkin investigates the extent of the problem, and what we ought to be doing to reduce the effects.
Tickets are available from the Erin Arts Centre, Rushen Heritage Centre or Bridge Bookshop in Port Erin.
