Recent Liszt Competition prizewinner Neo Hung opens this season’s Piano Series at EAC with a masterclass and evening recital.
Neo made his concerto debut at the Music Fest Perugia with Chopin’s Piano Concerto No.1 under Alessandro Alonzi in 2023. He has also performed at the Amalfi Coast Music Festival, Malaga Piano Festival, RCM Keyboard Festival and SonataFest. Neo toured England recently, with solo recitals in London, Bath, Bedford, Bristol, Bushey, Cambridge, High Wycombe and Oxford.
In 2023, Neo was a prizewinner in the Liszt Society International Piano Competition in London, chaired by the renowned pianist Leslie Howard. He also received an honorary mention in the final round of the Festival Internacional de Piano in Malaga in 2023. Neo also won prizes in the tenth Zhongsin International Music Competition, the fifth Japan-Hong Kong International Music Competition and the Internationaler Bonn Klassik Klavierwettbewerb.
