It’s Back! We’re pleased to announce that the next instalment of EAC Jazz Club will feature UK saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Beccy Rork, supported by EAC house band Blue Vannin. Beccy Rork is a saxophonist, teacher and arranger living in East Sussex. She began playing in blues, funk and soul bands in Norwich and went on to study Jazz, Popular and Contemporary Music at Leeds College of Music. There, she played tenor and alto saxophone, clarinet and flute in a variety of ensembles and was a classmate of local trombonist and award-winning poet, Jackie Morrey- Grace!
Beccy performs regularly throughout the UK and Europe with a myriad of artists, and is in constant demand as a bandleader and session musician. She has recorded for TV and radio, with the BBC and Jethro Tull amongst her credits.
Ably backed by Blue Vannin, an evening of mainstream jazz, funk and crossover music is guaranteed! Support act to be confirmed.
