Our EAC Book Circle meets on the first Wednesday of each month (taking a break for the summer in August) for coffee and chat about a new book each time. The next meeting is Wednesday 4th September at 2pm, with no membership fees but donations from members.
Spring Tides by Fiona Gell
Marine biologist Dr Fiona Gell tells the story of a pioneering project to create the very first marine nature reserve on the Isle of Man. A beautiful memoir of the sea, island life, and a battle to preserve the marine habitats of the island.
Dr Fiona Gell has a PhD in marine conservation and over 20 years’ experience working as a marine biologist.
