But First Promotions: Mike Wilton

Mike Wilton returns to the Isle of Man for his fifth But First gig, after helping us start it all off back in April 2018 with Mark Morriss at Noa Bakehouse.

For those of you who are unaware of Mike’s music, he is a phenomenal guitarist/songwriter (think if Davy Knowles came from East Sussex), influenced by The Beatles, The Who, The Kinks and Syd Barrett.

Mike started his career with the Standard Lamps who recorded two albums – ‘Long Lost Love’ & ‘Sell Everything You Own’, and also toured with The Bluetones & The Who. Mike has also recorded two solo albums, ‘Imaginary Friend’ & ‘It’s Good to Have You Here’ and has promised us some brand new music when he visits in February.
