December 5 @ 7:30 pm – 9:30 pm
IOM visual music group Kitterland will create a live soundscape to accompany a silent film.
Kitterland uses live loops, guitars and vocals and analogue modular synthesisers to create sonic soundscapes that move from quiet to loud and everything in between; the music created is then supported by film, projections or images. The music Kitterland make can be described as being part of the ‘slow music movement’ – things take time to happen, ideas form, develop and grow live in the moment.
The silent film the group perform on the night will be picked from a resource of films made available to all as they are now over 100 years old.
